Elvis and the owner of Crown Electric, James Tipler, remained close friends over the years. Tipler stayed in business until 1990 and, in 1986 he hired a young European immigrant in pretty much the same position he once hired Elvis. With time, Tipler and the young man became close friends. Tipler shared with the young immigrant his memories of the mid-fifties, Elvis' work habits, documents, and memorabilia unique to a period of Elvis' life, very little of which has been known until now. "Elvis Before Graceland" is Elvis' unique story at Crown Electric and a treasure trove for all interested fans. With over forty never-released photos, documents associated directly with Elvis and with his early years, "Elvis Before Graceland" is a must-read for all fans.

I must confess that this time much more interesting and not known until now details of Elvis' life are revealed due to the persistent and valuable research the author kept practicing since the previous editorial work on the topic.Even if sometimes not very literary shaded, but entirely accurate expressed, this book makes the huge artistic personality more understandable thanks to the writer's capacity to highlight the essential aspects that influenced the man's path and the star's career.
Elvis, a moment of Art eternity, a free spirit that succeeded in getting at the highest level of appreciation, yesterday and nowadays, all over the World,to whom discovery Adrian Keller chose to devote his talent and passionate efforts, is invoked in a more successful manner as an example to follow. As a Human being rather than a musical Symbol.
For these reasons, me, as a simple reader and not only, I warmly recommend "Elvis before Graceland" that can be a wonderful experience and a unique chance to improve.
